Dr. Kehilwe Nakedi, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Researcher

Kehilwe is a South African scientist who obtained her PhD in Chemical Biology from the University of Cape Town. Her research expertise is using mass spectrometry based (phospho-)proteomics to understand the mechanisms of survival of mycobacterium tuberculosis under different stress conditions. She is currently using metabolomics approaches to characterize and define functions of unknown mycobacterium proteins. Her hobbies include cooking and exploring NYC restaurants and jazz spots (when it is safe to do so).
